Our rescued goat Wynvisa had babies, and the MFS community helped name them!
Wynvisa is a four-year-old Nubian goat who was going to be slaughtered at a local dairy farm while she was pregnant. MFS stepped in to save her, and we were excited to welcome three kids into the world on August 10, 2017. Sadly, one of our precious kids passed away from a congenital heart defect, but we asked for help naming the other two goats—one boy and one girl.
In round one of our campaign, we received more than 200 name suggestions, and in round two hundreds of people voted for their favorite name. It was a close race, but in the end, two names were chosen: Olaf and Sage!
