Coco

Coco was the first ever llama to live on the Maple Farm Sanctuary property, as he was purchased by Jim and Cheri to protect their goats from coyotes when they were running a farm. Like all of the animals living there at the time, Coco helped convince Jim and Cheri to transform the farm into a sanctuary where their animals could live in peace. Coco was also a great ambassador for other llamas, as MFS went on to rescue many more llamas once we realized how sweet and gentle these animals can be!
