Jenolyn

Jenolyn came to MFS before we became a sanctuary in the 1990's. She was pregnant when Jim and Cheri purchased her and later gave birth to Konja. Like all of the amazing animals who lived at MFS at the time, Jenolyn was one of the reasons why Jim and Cheri decided to open a sanctuary instead of running a farm.

For more than twenty years, Jenolyn has lived a life of freedom, peace, and comfort at MFS alongside her daughter Konja and the many other rescued animals at the sanctuary. She was often seen lounging in the hay feeder with Konja, or hanging out in the back overhang alongside our big pig Jonathan! Jenolyn passed away in January 2018 from natural causes at the age of 23.
